I have taught for 30 years in Primary School, mainly in upper primary Mathematics and Science. My students remember me as an effective teacher who made learning fun and easy for them. I match my teaching to the learning style of my students. Students under me be it from EM1 stream or Foundation stream have all improved in their T-scores. Most importantly they have increased confidence in themselves and enjoy learning the subject. I have been awarded Best Teacher of the school during a Teachers' Day survey by students which was conducted by our Parents' Support Group and Most Caring Teacher award by NIE. For the past 10 years I have been a Senior teacher of Mathematics and Science in my school and a mentor to beginning teachers.
