I have given tuition to family (cousins and younger siblings mostly) previously. Also on top of that I have been a peer mentor in secondary school in my upper secondary years. Hence, despite the lack of actual tuition experience, I do have a good amount of informal teaching experience.
From my past experience, the best way of learning is by exploring the concepts in a guided manner and not be spoon-fed answers. Hence, my approach would be to serve as a guide for the student and hopefully allow him/her to enjoy this learning process and therefore improve.
Primary level - Chinese English Higher Chinese Mathematics Science
Lower secondary level - Chinese English Geography Higher Chinese Mathematics Science
Upper secondary level - Bio/Chem
Commitment / Other Details
Tuition timings are flexible and can be negotiated according to your schedules. Weekends are preferred. I am available for at least this entire year (2013). Tuition hours are also flexible with at least a minimum of 1.5 hours per session. Location will be at the student's house if possible or otherwise, I can arrange another venue.
