I currently teach Secondary 2 History, Upper Secondary Social Studies (Combined Humanities), and Upper Secondary Elective (Combined Humanities) and Full History. I have also taught critical writing, IB English, and General Paper outside school.
I worked as a tutor for children with special needs during my undergraduate years at Princeton University, and the experience led me to teach in Singapore starting in 2008. I taught the History Elective of Combined Humanities to Secondary 3, 4, and 5 students for 1.5 years before moving into curriculum work and educational research. I missed working directly with students, so I returned to teaching in 2012.
I have also served as a writer and editor for a large research organization in the United States.
