I have been tutoring since I started my university education back in 2005. To date, I have tutored various levels from K1 to Secondary 4 students.
Currently, I am a teacher at a local school teaching Mathematics. Thus, I am always updated with the current syllabus which puts me an edge ahead of tutors who are non-teachers.
I have produced students who scored distinctions too. Of course, there are some who didn't but they have improved vastly from their previous grades.
My principle in tutoring is not to give up even up to the last moment. This is because with sheer hard work and consistent studying, the student will definitely be able to produce the results that he/she desires.
Lower secondary level - English Mathematics Science

Commitment / Other Details
I am able to start any time but I need the understanding of the parents due to my work commitments as a Teacher.
I can be flexible with the timings too as I drive so it would not take me too long to travel down to the tutees' place.
I will stick with the tuition assignment for as long as the parent(s) require(s) me to or if I feel that the student is not progressing under my charge.
I try not to arrange tuition days on weekends as I believe in work-life balance and some families that I know would want to spend the weekends with their children.
