Tutor Profile

Tuition/Teaching Experience: I have given tuition for the following subjects: Lower secondary mathematics and science, Upper secondary biology, biology/chemistry and geography.

To truly master a subject, understanding the concepts first is crucial. Therefore, I usually first explain the difficult concepts to my students, then guide them in memorising the steps/formula and polish their answering techniques.

I had two secondary 4 biology students who scored F9 for the previous exams and managed to achieve C5 and B4 for their prelims. My lower secondary math student achieved an improvement from a C6 grade to an A2 grade.

Commitment / Other Details: Able to commit from mid November 2012 onward. I will be slightly busier from mid December 2012 till first week of January 2013, but will still be able to commit one/two lessons per week.
