Tuition/Teaching Experience: I have been conducting private group and 1 to 1 lessons in Singapore for 3 years and am very familiar with Lower Secondary Science, O-Level Physics and A-Level Physics.

In the past I have also taught Physics at the University level in the USA. I have also worked as an engineering manager here in Singapore for 4 years, so I know what it takes to be sucessful in academics as well as the corporate job market.

My approach is to teaching is very practical. I like to relate topics to the real world and get the students interested in what they are learning. I help them learn how to think and analyze problems, not learn through memorization.

Our method is:
1. To build strong foundations in Physics by enforcing good concept understanding. This means having a teacher who is good at explaining things.
2. To show students how to apply the concepts to problem solving. We want students to draw on their understanding to solve problems, not just memorize their way to the answers. If a student can be guided to draw on their own understanding, they will be ahead of 90% of their peers. Also, this will help them become better learners and much more efficient in their studies.
3. To prepare students for their school tests. We have excellent results and lots of testimonies from students and parents.
4. To make lessons fun and interesting. We show videos and do short experiments. We help student make the connection between the principles of science they are learning and the real world.
