Third Circle Theory is a book about how self-awareness and understanding our observations will help improve our daily lives. Be it from entrepreneurship to leadership skills, this book teaches us about the habits and traits of success and how we can apply it in our lives in order to graduate through the levels of success. The author is Pejman Ghadimi, who’s a self-made entrepreneur and he shares his perspective on how to advance through living and not stay mediocre in your approach to your goals and dreams.

The First Circle

In the first circle, everyone is born into this and starts of from here. Here, our aspirations are extremely small and our goals are finite. Most of us here also settle on little achievements and our life revolves around us. It is all about family, relationships and money. Routines are followed thoroughly and your earlier beliefs in life are strongly established. As you age and remain in the first circle, you begin to experience what people call a “Mid Life Crisis”. You are largely disinterested in life and when you see someone your age that is more successful than you, you start dreaming about ways to catch up to them and gain instant gratification.

The Second Circle

The people who have graduated into the second circle have an increased perspective, vision and view of the world which gives them the power to grow and think even further. When challenged with a problem, these people seek new ways of thinking and present their own opinions that challenge the narrow view of society. Being in the second circle, you start to realise that goals are out there for the taking and you shape your future with your free thinking. Not only are you defiant to society, but you start to question what you see around you and may see double meanings to everything in life. Leadership also awakens and your desire to take charge of those around you by providing them with benefits for working for your cause. When the opportunity comes, you’ll reap the reward from your hard work and may then become what people deem as successful.

Third Circle

However, you never really come to terms with the word “success”. You’re still the same person if you’ve yet to graduate to the third circle. In the final circle, there is no “I” anymore, but rather your existence is to serve the needs of people. Upon learning their true purpose in life, they themselves are removed from the equation of life. These people include Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and Elon Musk, with their legacies living on even if death comes for them. They are no longer working for the benefit of themselves but rather to serve the world with their vision.
As we move along, the book speaks on how to utilise the three circles in life in order to find one’s purpose. Not only is finding your purpose important in order for self-fulfilment, but it is important to the people around you. More often than not, an individual with a sense of purpose is active in society and an inspiration to all around them. With extraordinary people, they see the world for what it could be, not what it is. As such, their gift to the world is the catalyst in propelling it to greater heights that even money can’t possibly buy.
