Rapport Building: I will create a fun and comfortable learning environment so that students will feel too stressed up. Even though tests are important, however I will only give tests if it is necessary. As I belief that learning should be fun and should not be too stressful. I will discuss with the parents how their child performed and what they can do to help improve their grades as well. Parents can also be a part of their child's study journey. Both parents and students can feel free to ask me anything related to their studies and I will do my best to help them. Even if it is not working time I will reply any concerns raised by them.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I will go through school text books as well as extra informations. So that students can learn more informations besides from school materials. I will also be using videos and news articles to widen the information of studying. I will also be asking the student what materials or topics is their school going through currently and if they need help with certain areas.

As a Good Tutor: I will help my students to the best of my abilities. If they need further help, I will also research and make papers on my own to help further their learning. Rewards will also be given every time they improve. I want the students to feel that studying should be fun and not stressful. Memorising everything word for word is not the best way to study. There are many different ways and they should find their own learning styl

Commitment / Other Details: I will be able to commit up to 6 hours a week for tutoring. I am currently waiting to go to graduate school in the U.S. so I will be able to continue my tutoring gigs until end 2021.

Rapport Building: I really enjoyed tutoring during my time at college. It made the learning process a lot more enriching, and the prospect of being able to help my peers was in itself a reward. During this time I have decided to delay my choice to go to graduate school in order to spend more time with my family and look after them during this period. As such, I figured that becoming a tutor would be the best usage of my skills. I think that as of now I am best suited to teach IBDP courses. However, I have a younger brother who currently attends NUS High. In the process of tutoring him for the Olympiad, I have a decent understanding of the local curriculum and will be able to draw on this expertise using his existing test banks.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: My younger brother definitely enables me to keep up with the curriculum in Singapore. Although NUS High's curriculum is supposedly different from most local schools, I do believe that as one of the best math and science schools, preparing for their content and questions will enable all children (across all boards) to do well.

As a Good Tutor: I consider myself a patient and supportive person. I personally believe that tutoring is not about showing off your knowledge but instead, being a mentor to the student. I am a strong advocate of teaching kids how to think which is why I believe that my methods would enable students to improve in their studies holistically, rather than simply on a grade point average.
