    Before every single class, I will make sure i read up their syllabus before going over to start a lesson to ensure 100% familiarity with whatever i am supposed to teach. i will get to know the respective students' curriculum in school too by keeping track of their works accordingly.

      I only left the service 2 years ago and I still am up to date with the current Geography and English Literature syllabus. I am also still in contact with ex-colleagues who give me updates on curriculum changes.
      As a Good Tutor
      A good tutor should be customize their lessons to help target a student's weakness and to push them further in the areas they excel in where possible. At the same time, the students should be able to find some enjoyment in their lessons and want to know more. I have experience with a range of students of different abilities and interests so I believe I am able to tailor my sessions to help them do their best to perform well for the national examinations.
