      I have always been results-focused and disciplined in studying. Back in primary school I would always ace my exams and scored straight As for English and did so for PSLE. I taught my friends English in secondary school and GP in JC, I scored an A in those subjects too. My friend thanked me for being patient with him as he jumped from B4 to A1 for O levels. I hope to be able to do the same for the student by building a passion and a keen interest in the subject they are studying. At the same time, I intend to compliment their learning with guidance from my teaching and my elaborate yet clear notes.

      As a Good Tutor
      I believe always in making a subject interesting for the student.             I have many up-to-date assessment books that my siblings use, and also, I'm always listening in onto MOE's latest syllabus updates to better help my siblings. I am also constantly in touch with my teachers in my previous schools so as to know how they are copying.
            As a Good Tutor
            The basic qualities are definitely firstly, having sufficient and correct knowledge. The last thing we want is to teach the wrong item. Secondly, it is building rapport with the students. Most of the times, students are reluctant to go for tuition, because it may be boring and repetitive. By establishing a personal connection with the students, they will be more open and receptive to conversing with you, which helps in absorbing information. Lastly, to always check-in on the students' progress and adapt to different learning styles. Different students absorb information differently, and it is pivotal to understand how the students' learn and tutors should be able to adopt different learning methods. :)
