I graduated with a GPA of 3.3 and currently studying in SIM under University of London(UOL) Degree in Accounting and Finance.
I am currently having my holidays and will be entering my 3rd year in my university education.

Rapport Building: I was also the captain of the International Chess Club for Ngee Ann Polytechnic and this allowed me to train my leadership and mentoring skills as I had to lead my team.

I will have discussions with both the student and their parents to ensure that the teaching style benefits the student as I believe that every student requires different approaches.
Also, if the students or parents have any questions, I will be available to assist them outside of tuition sessions if possible.
Goal setting with both the parents and students are crucial as it provides them with the objectives and motivation to work towards it.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I will check the MOE website for updates and also head down to bookstores to ensure I am updated with the current syllabus.
For example, recently, the O' level English format changed and I went to the bookstore to familiarize myself with the format.
Also, I am able to adapt and willing to change my teaching style to suit the current syllabus

As a Good Tutor: A good tutor must always have vast knowledge of the subject he is tutoring.
Also, personal skills such as leadership and mentoring are important as we are all humans and ensure that personal emotions does not cloud our judgment.
Also, a good tutor must be patient as most students requires some time to understand the syllabus.
A good tutor will also create personalized notes for the students to ensure that the student is able to understand more clearly on the subject.
