Keeping Up with Curriculum: I will usually spend the first lesson with the student familiarizing myself with the syllabus and the teaching methods in their school so that I can come up with my own scope of teaching to maximize their learning. Also, I will be constantly on a look out for useful materials which will be beneficial to the student's learning and make sure that I am up to date with the current curriculum.

As a Good Tutor: Firstly, I think that a good tutor is one who is able to connect well with her student. Only when that is achieved, will a tutor be able to gain respect from her student and ensure that she has the complete attention of the student to maximize his/ her intake during lessons. It is also crucial for a tutor to be able to act quickly according to circumstances such as to figure out and implement the best method for her student. Responsibility is also very important such as to ensure that lessons are not postponed to not affect the learning pace of each student. :-)
