      To start off, first I would engage my student to get to know their personality and find a way to keep them engage. Then I would try to understand their strength and weakness, so that I could come up with a teaching method that would allow them to understand better and gain confidence and joy in studying. With the improvement of technology, student could also engage me at WhatsApp so that I could answer any of their impromptu question. For parents, I think it is important to understand the expectation of the parents and try my best to meet them. We could talk anytime after the class as well, phone calls or even meet up for a chat if there are any concerns.

      In general, I think a good tutor should be positive, motivating and knowledgeable. A good tutor should show good examples as an adult and encourage student to excel in their studies. It is important for student to learn the fundamental of a small problem before solving a complex problem. Learning is not about memorizing but understand the problem and use the simplest method to solve them.
