Tuition/Teaching Experience: I have been a part time tutor since 2001. My first pupil was an EM2 pupil whose parents wanted him to opt for EM1 and study Higher Chinese. After giving him tuition, his grades improved and he achieved a distinction for his PSLE. One of my current pupil has been with me since P1. He is now in P5. He always gets A* for his Chinese. Last year, he was awarded Best in Chinese Language in the P4 level last year.

As a school teacher previously, I started out teaching lower primary, but for the past 3-4 years, I specialise in teaching Upper Primary Chinese and Higher Chinese. All my P6 graduating pupils achieved A and A* for their PSLE. Even the pupils who were previously identified as weak in Chinese (D7/E8) scored A for Chinese for their PSLE.
