Tuition/Teaching Experience: I have 2yrs of teaching experience in UK teaching all levels up to O'Level English. After teaching in UK I can see the difference and weak points of Singapore students and where they go wrong, there are a few common errors i have noticed among a large number of students.

I have 4yrs of full-time tutoring experience, i also taught for 1.5yrs in a primary school in Tampines.

After giving tuition to a P5 boy who was constantly failing English, his grades improved and he managed to pass his PSLE examination when everyone thought he would fail.

I also taught a sec 3 girl from Paya Lebar secondary school, whose grades were never above D after a few months she started getting C's and for O'level she achieved an A2 grade.

Tuition/Teaching Experience: I've been giving English tuition to primary school kids ranging from ages 8 to 12.
I taught a pair of siblings (PRC) 2 years ago, the boy was P5 when I first taught him. He achieved an A for PSLE English and his sister (P2) have also improved and was able to write satisfactory compositions and speak proper English free of grammatical errors.
Other students (P3-5 ) have also improved. I'm currently teaching a P4 girl from Xingnan Pri, she scored 47 for English for SA1. After 3 months of tutoring, she scored 68 for SA2.
I expect my students to exercise discipline and respect and improve by the end of a year's tutoring. English is not a subject that's easily mastered but consistent diligence and determination would allow much room for improvement.
