I upgraded myself by taking up a teaching course in NIE on my own and have attained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education.
During my practicum as a teacher, I had taught in CHIJ Primary School for 10 weeks.

I believe in teaching concepts so that students can understand work themselves instead of spoonfeeding. In this manner, students take ownership of what they learnt. What students learn will belong to themselves and it will accompany them for life.

I also believe in practise makes perfect. my students will need to focus, practise and have commitment during lesson and for assignments that are given. I will ensure that students are strong in their foundations.

I believe in teaching a student patiently. i have the patience to ensure students reach their aim finally, no matter what type of student he or she is. I take time to prompt and guide students to the answers instead of just spoonfeeding. From this, I will also be able to understand a student's thinking process and correct any wrong understanding. I encourage frequent practice and constant drillings to ensure a strong foundation.Therefore, the scheduled lesson duration may not be enough at times but I do not mind staying back for some extra time, when time permits.

When necessary, i use IT resources too to aid in my teaching too.

I care for my students and always hope that they can achieve the best of what they can. I hope I can make a difference in their lives, and in turn, they make mine different.

Currently, I am engaged in assignments for all primary levels in all subjects.

During examinations periods, i am willing to come for extra lessons upon requests too.
