Tuition/Teaching Experience: I coached P5-P6 Science and English composition for about 1 1/2 years. Both students did well in their PSLE.

For a month, I taught English to a P3 boy from China. When I first started, he had an extremely limited knowledge of English, but was later able to converse quite a bit in English and expand his vocabulary. He moved to Yishun, and his parent recommended me to another friend of hers that lived nearby.

Currently, I am teaching English to that other boy from China (a friend of my previous student).

I am very passionate about teaching and children, and I believe that a strong interest in the subject is the key to good results. Hence, an objective of my lessons would be to cultivate an interest in learning in students, so that this interest would be carried with them all the way through life. With this interest established first, the good results will follow.
