Tuition/Teaching Experience: I have been a volunteer tutor at Whispering Heart Community Centre for three years, teaching both upper and lower primary school students. I occasionally replace other tutor when they are not available to teach their students. I have taught secondary school E maths (O level), combined chemistry & physics (O level), and primary school maths.
I believe it is important for the students to understand the topic and know how to answer the question. Therefore, I usually give the students a brief summary of the topic before discussing questions. In addition, I give answering tips to students to ensure they answer the question correctly. I also dedicate the first half an hour of my session to do revision on what the students have learnt or done with me the previous lesson.
