Tuition/Teaching Experience: I have given relief teaching at primary school before, hence I know how to handle primary school kids.
Normally, I would teach according to the learning capability of the student. During my first few lessons with the students, I would usually give them a small quiz to gauge their understanding of the syllabus. Thereafter I will re-enforce on those topics which the students are weak at. To do so, I will search for assessment books for the students to practice on and then go through with them. Nearing the examination periods, I will look for examination papers to give them timed-practice and grading them as well.
I am patient and fluent, if students do not understand my method of explanation, I would use another method to get through to them.

Commitment / Other Details: So far, my achievement is to make a Primary 5 girl who failed her Mathematics passed her year end Mathematics paper. This is possible only through drilling her with many exercises and making her memorize the multiplication table. I have taken Higher Chinese in secondary school and have got a B3 grade for it, hence I believe I am able to invoke interest in Primary school students who do not do well in their Chinese to work hard and score.

Currently I am waiting for part time degree at uniSIM to commence, hence I am looking for many part time tutoring jobs to earn an extra income. I am free on most weekdays night and weekends day to give tuition since I have not started my school yet.

Tuition/Teaching Experience: Currently working in accounting and management profession. I am enjoying every bit of it although most people try to stay away from these 2 specific subjects due to its perceived complexity. The the reason for this shy away is mainly due to lack of understanding that general public have on this subjects.
This is the reason why I would like to share this wonderful experience and show others how simple accounting is once you have a good grasp of the basic.
My experience tutoring voluntarily in Australia while during my University days were very much missed as helping the high school kids in maths/Accounting especially when I could see the progress, great improvement in thier result. With more than 10 years I guess do give me the additional advantage over undergraduate tutors...
