Hi, I am Abarna. I am currently tutoring students for pure chemistry who have shown great improvement in their interest towards the subject as well as their grades. I also tutor students in additional and elementary mathematics. My teaching style involves creating my own notes for the students from various resources and afterwhich allowing the student to practice challenging questions. At the end of the lesson i would give a summary of the lesson to refresh conncepts.             I have volunteered in Zhonghua Secondary School to tuition students who are weak in Physics and Chemistry for the past two years. I enjoyed the teaching process as I felt a great sense of satisfaction when I observed great improvement in my students. For instance, one of my mentees had jumped from E to B3 in her O level examination for Physics. During the December holiday in 2011, I have worked as a part time English teacher in China, helping students with their oral English and written English. From my experience, I strongly feel that a great teacher is not the one who teaches the most content, but the one who can inspire the students to learn and truly appreciate the subjects that they are learning.
