    A little background about myself:

    I am a student journalist and designer based in Republic Polytechnic with experience of working on RP's Republican Post Magazine and news site and the People's Association (PA) organisation.

    As a designer, I have explored a few brochure layouts for non-Porfit organisation such as Caring Fleet. As a journalist, I have a few published articles ranging from reviews, lifestyle as well as events such as Chingay. Also, real live on the ground experience in broadcasting.


    I have a strong passion for the languages and sciences. I am available anytime or immediately for now but I'll have to negotiate with the time and date with your child for the tuition sessions when the semester starts on the 30th October 2013 for everyone's convenience. I'm able to commit to a tuition assignment as long as you and your child wants or needs. (:

    Rate - $20 - $25 per session depending on number of subjects.

            I am able to commit for the long term, at least a few years. My rates are 80/hr for JC, and 60-70/hr for Sec.
            I believe in establishing good rapport with students, to understand their strengths and weaknesses. I will then cater my teaching style to meet their learning needs and abilities. Depending on the topic, I use a variety of methods to teach Physics concepts (e.g. Applets, video clips, etc.) so that students have a lasting impression, internalise the concepts and can learn better. I present Physics concepts in a clear and concise manner, by breaking them down into simple ideas. Students have benefitted from this, and found the subject to be not as daunting as it used to be for them.
