Tuition/Teaching Experience: I have been tutoring for 2 years to secondary 3 students in the subjects of English and Mathematics. They have since made significant improvements from failing these subjects to achieving A2 and B3. Being in the Maths Scholars Programe in JC also allowed me the opportunity to mentor my weaker peers in mathematics.

I tend to focus on ensuring my students have a firm grasp of main concepts so that they may apply it flexibly. I try to cover new topics in the holidays and do practices during term time, or whichever suits my student best. I also encourage my students to compile the queries that they have between lessons to clarify during tuition in order to build up their confidence in those subjects.
