Instead of instilling fear, I prefer to make friends and allow kids to learn through happiness and enjoyment. Parents direction is very important as well - be it focus on building vocab or focus on letting kids to learn to love the subject. Previously as a secondary school student who used to struggle with certain topics, I will be able to emphasise with their problems more.
