My primary motivation for tutoring Secondary School and Junior College students over the last three years is to pay it forward, considering the time and effort that my teachers spent on me. A late bloomer in school, I fully comprehend and empathize with the stress, frustration and challenges that my students face, thus I sincerely believe that I can help to steer many of them in the right direction academically. However, more than that, I find it prudent to remind them that there is a life beyond their books. With respect to results, there have been significant improvements in weaker students. Most of my students achieved an A in their respective national examinations. Seeing their great joy and relief upon receiving their results more than makes up for the long hours and hard work.
