I've been teaching primary to secondary school students at a family service centre weekly for slightly more than 2 years prior to A levels. They seem to be attached to me and I will be continuing with that.
Years of volunteering to help underprivileged children over the years have made me extremely passionate for the young children and I have learnt how to deal with children aptly.
I pride myself on being an organised person and can plan lessons well. This can be seen in my leadership positions in school with gave me many opportunities to execute events and activities.

Commitment / Other Details
I am able to start immediately and commit fully right now as this would be my only part time job. I thrive well in group and personal interaction and will try my upmost best to connect with the student and cater to their needs individually.
Locations near MRT stations, especially those in the east are preferred.
Rapport Building
Having dealt with many tutors in my several years of education, I believe strongly in catering to each student's need, be it in speed and depth of teaching the curriculum. Being able to understand them better will enable me to understand what their academic rigour and emotional preferences, be it intensive tutoring or beginning with the basics.
As I have experience with tutors in recent years, I am able to empathise with the students' needs and am capable of understanding and catering to their needs, enabling them to reach their full potential and beyond.
With regards with the parents, I would like to keep them updated on their child's progress and ensure their part to play in their child's education.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have relatives who are currently in primary school and some under the O level curriculum. By helping them regularly, i am able to understand curriculum. Having recently graduated from the Integrated programme, I have contacts and friends who are active in the line and hence I am and will be able to keep updated with the programme.
As a Good Tutor
