Taught 8 students in pri and sec schools since 2011. I specialise in teaching math, english, chinese. Students all improved significantly as I emphasize on consistent hard work & clear understanding of key concepts. I'll selectively pick out foundational & challenging assessment practices to increase students' exposure to concepts taught in school and to hone their critical thinking skills. Developing familiarity with a range of question types & problem solving skills is my focus. I'm a passionate, patient teacher & go through the thought process step-by-step so students can solve different questions independently & confidently. Given my educational background, I can give tips on good study methods & instill in students the importance of diligence & discipline to achieve better grades.

I'm able to start teaching immediately. Currently just graduated from SMU with a double degree in Accountancy & Business Management. No other commitments as of now, so schedule is very flexible.
I achieved a perfect score for A Levels (7 distinctions) and scored A1 for my O Level Higher Chinese. Math and English are my strengths and I'm also confident of teaching Chinese/Higher Chinese, having done well in the subject in O Levels.
It is important to me to cultivate a positive attitude in my students towards learning so that they will take initiative to work hard and be motivated. I believe in diligence and discipline and strive to assist my students in achieving their fullest potential and becoming enthusiastic learners.
