I'm patient, friendly and approachable, with 2 years of part-time tutoring experience. I like to challenge students to find their own answers by using analogies and guiding them through the thought process from conceptualisation to problem-solving. I believe that the more you teach, the less the student learns. Hence I see myself more as a facilitator rather than an instructor. Instead of imparting facts, I like to pose questions and have my student explain their thought process to me. While results are important, I place much greater value on the ability to think than the ability to memorise facts. My greatest joy in teaching is to help students discover the intrinsic joys of learning and to become a self-motivated learner.
