In the midst of school, I have participated in several mentoring programmes that involved the tutoring of mainly primary school students. One such example is the Triple E Programme that was organised by the Pasir Ris Family Service Centre. In the Triple E Programme, I was given the opportunity to tutor primary school kids who are under the financial scheme in their weaker subjects as well as the organisation and facilitation of activities and camps for both mentors and kids. Another example is the KidsRead Programme that was organised by the National Library Board. Unlike the Triple E Programme, I had to conduct story-telling sessions and followed-up activities for pre-schoolers who are under the financial scheme and require coaching in the English language.

Commitment / Other Details
I'm able to start work after 25 June 2012. As I'm currently schooling, I would prefer assignments which requires me to work on weekends and probably at night on weekdays. Should the assignment be on weekends, I would be able to commit on a long term basis. As for assignments which entails me to work on weekdays, I would only be able to commit for 3 months as I would be on for internship in 3 months time.
