I have previously interned at MOE for 5 weeks for Teaching. I took 4 upper secondary classes for Pure Geography. I was taught the Geography curriculum and field work with the students. I am currently a contract teacher at a Secondary School teaching Geography and Social Studies
I believe that teaching not only consists of teaching content but also teaching students how to read the questions and equipping them with the correct attitude to learn and find answers. My experience has enabled me to know how to manage students of many different levels form Kindergarten to Secondary School and above
Lower secondary level - English Geography Mathematics Social Studies
Upper secondary level - E Maths Geography Social Studies

Rapport Building
I believe to build rapport with students we have to be strict but warm at the same time. Understanding the needs of the parents and their concerns for their children, knowing the difficulty each student has towards learning and meet the expectations and aid both parents and students.
Being friendly and approachable towards students so that they can voice out their questions is something i believe in. But also, be strict in expectations towards the students. Rapport can also be built through conversations and casual chats.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I browse through official websites for the curriculum to know the requirements of the subjects. I also look at common textbooks used by the schools and speak to friends and families studying the school curriculum I am teaching
