I've taught 2 students before. Both of them were my sister's tutees. But I really put my heart and soul into teaching them. I even resorted to typing out qns that they weren't that good in, by using my own examples. So as to make sure that they really understood the concept. But personally, I do not scold or shout at my tutees. I demand standards but I do not force it upon them. I'm more of the naggy type. I would prefer to teach mathematics and sciences because those are my stronger subjects.

Keeping Up with Curriculum
Personally, i will try to stay updated with the curriculum by going to the popular to read up on the subjects i am teaching. I will also go online to read up on the topics so as to make sure that i have prior knowledge on the topic. This will no doubt help the tutee understand better.
