I had been a peer support leader prior to this guiding a bunch of JC1s in studying skills and i belive that although it might not have been knowledge intensive teaching but but i believe that the concept remains the same. As a past student i can easily empathise with the problems that most students face in their studies. Also having taken similiar examinations relatively recently, i am able to provide my students with ample comprehension that is required of the subject provide tips and tricks which are mostly invisible to the education system provided to students.
I think the fundamental concept of teaching is relating to the student. Any one can throw knowledge at the student but understanding the mentality of the student helps hasten comprehension.
