Tuition/Teaching Experience
I am currently an undergraduate at NTU, majoring in Economics. I have two years of tuition experience. Currently I have 2 P3 student, 1 P5 student. Prior to this, I have taught P4, P6 and Sec 1 student. After giving tuition to 1 of the P6 and P5 student, their maths and science improved to B from C. Another P6 student had his maths improved from a fail to attaining an A in his PSLE. In addition, I have done mentoring in school for Primary school students where they have differing capabilities and learning styles.
My teaching method will be going through the chapter with the student, then do assessment books questions as well as go through past year examination questions with the student. I will also highlight things to take note of while doing the questions.
