Keeping Up with Curriculum
I will familiarise myself with the current syllabus through assessment and guide books available in book stores, as well as look through my students' school papers, assignments and answer keys provided by the school to better understand the key points and level of rigour that are expected for the different types of questions. With the student, communication is key and learning is both ways. Through tutoring, I will also do my best to constantly update myself and learn from my students and their mistakes.
As a Good Tutor
I am dedicated and committed to improve the skill levels of my students, as well as to provide them with an enjoyable learning experience. Before each tutoring session, I will prepare materials and update my students of the lesson plans and objective of upcoming lessons so as to ensure minimum time wastage during the tutoring sessions. I am also willing to adapt and constantly update my teaching methods to maximise effective learning.
