Had been involved in tutoring for 2 years now and taught secondary and upper primary students. Mainly focused on mathematics and science ( physics and chemistry). From my past experiences, I had been able to be patient and ensure that my students learn from me and excel in their exams. I am able to cope with students who need strict teachers and students who need patient teachers.

Commitment / Other Details
Currently, I am a undergraduate attached to a tutor center and is actively looking for more tuition opportunities. Would be able to commit to assignments on a year long basis for the whole of the academic year. Preferred timings are weekdays ( 7pm - 9pm) and weekends ( 9 am - 12 pm).
Rapport Building
I would first understand from the parents about the specific needs of their child and also obtain information of how will the parents want me to teach as sometimes parents have a standard structure that they wan the tutors to follow. Then i will go on to understand the child and see his learning abilities and how he/she learns in what methods will the student absorb the information best.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Keeping up with the curriculum is to keep taking up students and give myself the motivation to continuously learn about the updates of the syllabus.
As a Good Tutor
To be a good tutor, its very straightforward that we have to ensure our students gain knowledge from us and be able to apply it themselves when we are not around.
