Commitment / Other Details
Rapport Building
I believe in staying humble with the parents at all times. However with the student, I believe in a carrot and stick concept, because I believe that as a child, the only responsibility you have is to at least acknowledge what your parents do for you.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I take reference to my students curriculum over the next few years and refer back to the official MOE website for their expectations with respect to the understanding of the curriculum.
As a Good Tutor
First and foremost, patience is a virtue and is especially so as a teacher and tutor. Second I believe that as a tutor, it's to be expected of me to bring my student to a level higher than his or her peers if the circumstances allow.
