I can start ASAP and will be able to teach until, minimally, the end of the year.

Keeping Up with Curriculum
As a Good Tutor
I am a NUS Law graduate and have just finished my pupillage with Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP, a one of the Big 4 law firms in Singapore. I will be called to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor at the end of August 2017.

Although I will be qualified to practice law in Singapore, I much prefer teaching and am currently applying to NIE. I have tutored students throughout my stint in university, and have more than 5 years' experience in total.

I specialize in teaching GP and English at the secondary school level. Notably, I taught GP to a JC student from China, whose foundation in English was very shaky. Nonetheless, I was able to help her improve her GP grade from "U" to "B" in a mere 6 months.

I believe that every student is unique, and that a cookie-cutter approach to teaching is ineffective. Therefore, I personalize my teaching to target each student's specific weaknesses.

In addition, I feel that students learn best when they feel comfortable with their tutor. In addition, mutual respect between the student and the teacher is a necessity for effective teaching.
