I have 17.5 years of teaching experience. I have taught Upper Secondary Chemistry to various streams and programs, including Integrated Program and Gifted Education Program, Express Pure Chemistry, O an N(A) levels Science(Chemistry).
I have also taught Lower Secondary Sciences and Lower Secondary Mathematics.

To build rapport I would find out more about the student and be a good listener to him/her. I could also send encouragement messages through sms/watsaap.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I'd look through the recent past years' papers to see the type of questions and the trends of the questions set.
As a Good Tutor
I would guage the student's ability and explain accordint to his/her ability to understand. I would also let the students try out the types of questions that are pertinent to the topic and give him/her practice, with me assessing and correcting him/her, and then giving more practice for him/her to gain mastery.
