Tuition/Teaching Experience
Teaching has always been something that i am passionate about from young. Starting from the age of 16 after my O'levels, i began giving part-time tuition to a couple of students which has helped them improve from grades of fail to B and some even A. I have a strong foundation of Mathematics from my secondary and junior College education, enabling me to impart the fundamentals of the subject to my students instead of just giving them the worked solutions. I believe in them understanding the concept behind a problem and me explaining the method to solve it. This is so that they do not merely memorise solutions, which is one of the reasons why some students struggle to solve higher-level problems as they lack the ability to apply a certain concept from one problem to another.
