Tutoring Subjects

Commitment / Other Details: I will be available on most weekends for two-hour long sessions, and I'll be available for the rest of the year.

Rapport Building: I'm a friendly guy, who's also pretty eloquent and willing to share his opinion not just on academics, but can give other various forms of advice as well. Having been through school and holding various CCAs and leadership positions (Cricket team captain, house captain), and now holding the rank of an officer in National Service, I've learnt the art of engaging people and expressing myself fully as well. As such, it will not be a problem for me to build a rapport with parents and students, given my outgoing nature as well as my ability to carry on conversations and speak eloquently.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I ensure that I grasp the concepts of subjects before going on to teach my students because I feel that it is much easier to solve questions if the concept is understood rather than memorising and blindly applying.

As a Good Tutor: A good tutor must be able to carry himself well, have sufficient subject matter knowledge and the experience of doing the topics, and doing them well, and he must have great understanding on basic concepts as well, so that he is able to impart all of these upon his students. I feel like I possess all these qualities because that was the way I studied in school, understanding fundamentals, then going on to do questions.
