Rapport Building
There will be ice breaking activities , related to the subject. I will find the learning style of the student such as auditory, or they prefer writing or using games to memorise facts/formula. I will keep in constant contact with parents to update the progress of the student.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I am a private school teacher using the MOE curriculum. So I am always kept updated with the curriculum.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor must have the patience, passion and perseverance to motivate the students. He/she must always be positive and have a cheerful disposition because if the student does not personally like being with the tutor, the tstudent will not be doing any learning at all. The tutor must also be firm but friendly and be creative in finding ways to help in the learning.
