Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have had 7 years of tutoring experience with upper secondary students. My specialized subjects are pure chemistry, pure physics and combined science (chem/phy).
To date, I have tutored 12 students in these subjects, and ALL of them have shown at least a 3 grade improvement (i.e C6 --> B3) in each subject.
I am very familiar with the current syllabus, and thus I am able to answer students' questions promptly and precisely. At the same time, I am able to execute differentiating instruction according to the students' academic level and their level of understanding. For instance, I will emphasize more on basics for weaker students, while I will have stronger students attempt more challenging and open ended questions to further deepen their understanding.
