Commitment / Other Details
I am able to commit for at least 3 months up till the month of August when university will start. Flexible tuition hours and no fixed day or timing as I am still busy applying for university.
Rapport Building
Going into this tuition programme, I believe that it is vital for the parents, student and I to understand and share a common goal that we can all work towards. This way, achieving this said goal becomes more realistic as the parents would be able to supervise the student or motivate the student. Moreover, the student would also be aware of what they should try to achieve by the end of the day or month. It takes a village to raise a child and I feel that through effective communication and understanding one another, a harmonious relationship will definitely be able to be built.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I adapt very well and will familiarise myself with the curriculum as well as the requirements to score well by reading up on assessment books or textbooks and also talking to students or parents themselves who have experience with the curriculum.
As a Good Tutor
I believe that being a good tutor should stem from a passion to teach. The desire to see your student grow and improve is a delightful motivation through the tutoring programme. With a passion for teaching also naturally comes the sense of responsibility towards the sessions and the student, as well as patience and care for the student.
