Rapport Building
Make it a point to understand parents reason for engaging a tutor. Understand from parents where they would like me to pay key attention if require any. Request for the latest exam paper of the student to understand the student's weakness before i begin my tutoring. I believe in being a friend to the student to get their attention and this rapport helps while i tutor.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I make it a point to learn the easiest way to coach my students. For an instance the strategy for mathemetics 9,8 timetable. I learn these via youtube video and make myself up to date.
