Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have just graduated from the IB programme last November and received my IB diploma in January. I am confident and very familiar with the curriculum and may understand some of the problems students are facing as I may have experienced and overcome them myself!
As a Good Tutor
I believe a good tutor should be first and foremost patient, as yelling and rushing through the curriculum without full comprehension will not help the student. This is followed by being in touch with the current syllabus, which I am as I have a firsthand experience. No matter how much experience a tutor has, if he is not in touch with the current syllabus, he will resort to referring to the answer sheet solely. Finally, a good tutor should be understanding and keep the needs of his student in mind.
