Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have been teaching Biology and Chemistry for the past 6 years. My students have consistently scored B3 and above for both subjects in the GCE 'O' Levels. I have also taught IP students as well as GCE 'A' Level Biology. Normally, I start the lesson with a revision and clarify any doubts the students might have. I am able to provide additional notes/summary/practises that can help the students in their learning and revision.

Commitment / Other Details
I am able to start any time and will commit till the end of the year. I am also able to teach in a group of 4-5 students.
Rapport Building
Usually after a lesson, I will give a brief update to the parents about their child. Was the child having problems or misbehaving during with the lesson so that the parents can follow up with the child. I am friendly and approachable to my students and am not overly strict on them unless necessary. I will also feedback and inform the student his/her strength and weakness, and together make a collective effort to improve on the weakness.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I read widely and will check out the latest curriculum listed online by SEAB. I will also analyse what are the recent trends for assessment by looking at past year school exam papers or ten-year series.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor should be punctual and be on time for each lesson. He should also be patient with his students and be able to explain difficult concepts in simple terms. If the student is still unable to grasp it, he should be able to explain the concepts in a different manner. He should know the strength and weakness of the student and try to help the student to overcome the weakness to excel in his or her studies.

A good tutor should also be professional and not engage in leisure activities during the tuition. Lastly, he should also be a potential role model that the student that learn from.
