Tuition/Teaching Experience
I've 2 years experience in tutoring Math/English/Science at the Primary School level. Another 2 years experience in tutoring at the University level for Accounting & Finance subjects.

My most recent tutees are business students and are weak in accountings. They were getting near failure grades but after spending time with them, MOST improved to a distinction. This is because I help them understand rather than memorise, and most accounting students feel the need to memorise methods.

I have experience with both local and overseas students and thus have a better understanding of what students need.

Commitment / Other Details
My commitment to giving tuition is immediate as long as it is after working hours on weekdays (after 6pm).
Rapport Building
I believe the key to building any relationship is simply communication. Communication is two ways and that is to speak and to listen.

As it is such, we have 2 ears and 1 mouth. I would listen more to try and understand the parents/students situation, needs and wants and let them know in detail how I can help.

A weekly feedback to parents is crucial as this keeps them updated on their child's academic performance.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
My fiancee is a current primary school teacher. She takes charge of primary 4 level English in her school, has set Math papers before, and is also well-versed in all other levels.

Coming from a business background, it makes sense to tap onto such a rich source of experience. Simply said, she keeps me up to date on whats expected in the schools.
