I have been teaching for 6 years now. I have recently moved here from Kuala Lumpur, where I previously taught at Taylor's University (a private institute). Most of my students were at pre-university level, between 18-20 years, although I have taught primary school students as well. The most common comment I receive from my students: 'You're very patient and helpful'. In my teaching, I do believe that students should be given the chance to ask and try for themselves. Learning is a process and a personal journey, and only by stepping out in the face of possible embarassment and having the willingness to take the next step forward can one really learn. All in all, I am a teacher who believes in my students and strives to help them achieve their God-given potential.
I am able to start as soon as possible, i.e. in October. However, I will be away from 17 Dec 2012 - 13 Jan 2013. Looking at my schedule, I will be able to commit to one-month assignments this year, and have longer commitments in February 2013. I am available Mon-Fri, although Sats can be considered.
