Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have been tutoring for the past 5 years. My students range from 11 to 16 years old. The first couple of lessons with the student are very informative and is what I use to plan my lessons for them.

Commitment / Other Details
I am able to start immediately. I will commit to the assignment for 6 months. After which, I will inform the parents if I am able to continue and also it will be based on the parents' feedback.
Rapport Building
On my first lesson, I would have a sit down with the student and the parent to get a better understanding as to what they expect from me and what are the goals we want to achieve. After that, I will speak to the student only to discuss how much work load he or she will be able to do and what pace they want me to teach.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I follow updates from MOE every 6 months for my students. If I get new students from a level that I have yet to teach, I will check the curriculum online as well as with the student itself.
As a Good Tutor
To be a good tutor, I think it is important for the tutor to understand what is the most effective teaching method and speed. Additionally, a tutor has to be consistent in appearing for lessons to ensure that the student's learning is not disrupted.
