Tuition/Teaching Experience
With 5 years of tutoring, I have experience teaching P6 Malay to my previous tutee to help her improve her grades. She was not doing well in her MT subject and her grade would not allow her to take up Higher Malay in secondary school. In the end, I managed to help her achieve an A* for her PSLE Malay and she managed to take HMT in her secondary school.

Apart from Malay, I also have experience teaching lower sec Maths and Science, as well as primary 5 maths. All tutees were failing badly in these two subjects and required immediate help. The end results was that the primary school girl managed to finally pass her maths, and the secondary school girl managed to improve from an F9 for maths and E8 for science to Cs for both subjects. Currently I'm teaching 'N' Level Malay.

Commitment / Other Details
I can start immediately or when requested. I'm able to commit as long as the student needs me to tutor him/her.
Rapport Building
I believe that communication is very important, both between students and also parents. I usually request parents to fill me in with details regarding their child before I personally ask my students about their strengths and weaknesses.

I firmly believe that asking questions during lessons are important, but some students tend to be shy. With such students, I usually take the initiative to ask them questions to make them be more open and comfortable during lessons. Communication is important between student and teacher to determine the level of understanding.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I use ten year series and assessment books that are up to date.
