Tuition/Teaching Experience
Hi there, I'm a new entrant into the field of tutoring. I believe that tutoring is more than simply helping your child get good grades, it is helping him or her to understand why it is important and motivate them to be more proactive in learning. I feel that the journey is just as, if not more important than the end result and my style of tutoring is to place more emphasis on guiding your child and helping them to understand and arrive at answers. I find great joy in helping people achieve their goals, whatever they may be and I am able and willing to go the extra mile to make sure your child not only improves in their studies, but also in their attitude and outlook.

Commitment / Other Details
I can start as early as next week and can commit to a 4-6 months tuition assignment. My timing is flexible as I am not currently committed to a full time job. Timings can be negotiated and I can adjust my schedule to fit yours and your child's.
Rapport Building
I feel that the most important thing is for a parent and their child to feel comfortable working with and interacting with a tutor. My focus will be on getting to know the family more than just through teaching their child. Having a good relationship will allow the child to feel at ease and learn better and give the parent confidence that their child will not have any issues.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have friends who do tutoring and have the necessary materials as well as sources for them. I will use these resources to prepare.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor must be able to help the student understand and apply the subject matter as well as be able to handle questions that the student asks. A truly great tutor motivates their students to go further, do more and break their barriers, misconceptions and self doubt. I believe that tutoring and mentoring go hand in hand.
